Al Ain Paradise - Its Bigger Now - Don't Miss It

Al Ain, U.A.E.

This time it was a great experience to visit the Al Ain Paradise, a well planned and arranged garden, in the outskirts of Al Ain City.
It is located in Zakher, near the roundabout on the way to Jabal Hafeet, another great tourist attraction in Al Ain.
The Paradise is now spread in more areas with many attractions apart from the flowers. At the entrance a board displays the recognition from Guinness World Records for an exhibit of hanging flower baskets in a number that has never been displayed anywhere in the world.
2500 baskets filled with colorful flowers have been arranged in a fabulous way in the show.
It is known that vertical landscaping technologies have been used to create the 2,500 flower baskets  It covers an area of 70,000 square meters including the corridors and walkways. The baskets are off different types and shapes with many kinds of flowers.
A 6 meter high tower of flower baskets, a 12 meter high replica of the Eiffel Tower, colourful decorative lights and more than 40 pyramids of flowers presents a pleasing view.
A waterfall has also been made to enhance the looks of the garden. But this time it was not functional (during my visit on 29-04-2011).
Twenty five varieties of flowers from America, Europe, Japan, Germany and Italy have been used in the show.
This time (my previous visit was in November 2010) a large increase in visitor numbers has been visible, from all parts of the U.A.E. The park is open only for families on weekends.
So if you are visiting Al Ain don't miss it. Definitely its worth seeing. Don't make a missed opportunity.
